This travel bug 'lodge' is about as close to US 30 as one can
safely get these days. Please do NOT stop on the highway, pull off
onto the dead end road near the cache location. Please do not park
on the grass and beware of drainage holes and culverts in a few
spots.
I really have horrible luck with my own travel bugs but I do
enjoy passing them around (between caches more so than at events).
Now that US 30 is an 'expressway' through Tama-Toledo I seem to get
fewer visitors to "Summitt Dwelling - A Traveler's Rest", so I'm
creating this cache for travelers that want to move along more
quickly.
This lodge has been approved by the land owner and if you pay
them a visit and announce that you are a geocacher you might find
some additional treasure.
Please trade fairly so we always have a bug or two to pass.
