Bolt Tree Traditional Cache

I see these kinds of trees all over the city. My assumption is that the city is attempting to repair damage to these trees by bolting the pieces together. I wonder if they survive long term.
The cache is a homemade camouflaged micro in, on or around this unique location. BYOP and please place back nice and tight, remembering that things move when it's really windy.
