This is cache placed in a rural cemetery in northern Morris County, KS. Name of the cemetery is Zion Lutheran at the entrance gate, but on some maps it is shown as Latimer Cemetery. Located NW of the small town of Latimer, KS, I found this little cemetery while conducting a map recon of the area and then I went out to verify its existance. Neat little cemetery with some interesting headstones.
This being in a rural area, you will be traveling on gravel roads. They are very well maintained so there should not be any problems traveling these roads in inclement weather.
Quickest way to get to this cemetery is traveling on U.S. HWY 77 and turn off onto 2800 Road. Travel south until 2800 road intersects with H Ave. Travel west on H Ave until it intersects with 2825 Road. Travel south on 2825 Road until it intersects with K Ave. You will see the little cemetery at the NW corner of this intersection.
This is a cemetery, so, as always, show respect for the population, no caching at night, and, if live activities are being conducted, come back at another time.
Be sure to visit the other caches that I have placed in the general area.
You will be searching for a container about the size of a soda can. Try searching those trees directly in front of you. Reach over the fence and cache should be about chest high.
UPDATE: April 19, 2015 - Due to the condition of container (it still has some life left to it), PLEASE replace back into its hidey-hole. This is so that it stays out of the elements. THANKS!!
UPDATE: October 14, 2019 - Replaced missing container.
