Geocache Description:

Micro cache hidden near the six little Buddhist figures (Jizo) with red hats and bibs. Close to Wadazuka Station on the Enoshima line, but walkable from Hase or Kamakura Stataion

On the main street of Yuigahama, stand six little bodhisattva (jizo) figures with red hats and bibs. It is said that these jizo were placed during the Kamakura period to pray for the souls of the prisoners executed at the prison near Saikyo Bridge.
Next to the jizo statues is a plaque with a famous Basho poem: (something like… “Summer grass; all that’s left of warriors’ dreams” (not official translation!)
Please do not search the jizo themselves - they are not hiding the cache!
