Bear Hunt: 4 - (a wee detour) Hawthorn Traditional Cache

We heard there was an event cache in nearby Backmuir woods so, as we’re just down the road, and not wanting to miss out, we’ve set this series of caches. While you’re here, you might also want to pay us a visit in the Wildlife Centre – if we haven’t already managed to sneak past Ranger Smith.

This series of caches was inspired by our love for this fabulous children’s story, and the ear-bashing we have to endure every time anyone starts reciting this book within earshot of a certain pint-sized cacher aka "she who must not be named".

This trail of caches takes you round parts of Camperdown Park where the first 20 finders can collect one wooden piece from each of the original "Bear Hunt" caches which, when completed, will make up your own wooden pencil holder bear (detour caches do not have bear pieces or clues to the bonus cache in them) before finally ending up at………
