What do you wear on your feet in the summer? Sandals, Flip Flops,
or do you go barefoot?
I can remember the joy I felt as a child when we finally were able
to kick off those shoes and go barefoot in the Summer. We knew
Summer had finally arrived when we were given permission to run
through the grass with nothing but our soles on……our
feet.
Flip Flops were the only "shoes" we used all summer long. In
hindsight, it was probably because we outgrew shoes so fast that
our parents saved money by letting us use only flip-flops,
sometimes clear up until Halloween.
