Geocache Description:

The event is a tribute to Eyebright, a geocaching couple from Northern Ireland who are visiting Canada for 2 weeks of caching and touring. Bring your trackables, and maybe they will get a free ride to the UK.

Time: 7pm - 9pm

This event will be held at O’Hara’s Irish Times pub at 1400 Bayly Street Unit #3 Pickering, ON. The pub is adjacent to, and on the east side of, the Pickering GO station.

***** Special Note ******
There will be draws for 1 of 3 unactivated Geo Coins that will be given away at the event.

Lough Erne, is the name of two connected lakes in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. The lakes are widened sections of the River Erne. The river begins by flowing north, and then curves west into the Atlantic. The southern lake is further up the river and so is named Upper Lough Erne. The northern lake is Lower Lough Erne. The town of Enniskillen lies on the short stretch of the river between the lakes. The lakeside is high and rocky in some parts and, in addition to the 154 islands, there are many coves and inlets. When windy, navigation on Lower Lough Erne, running for 26 miles almost to the Atlantic Ocean, can be something of a challenge with waves of open-sea dimensions. Shallow Upper Lough Erne, spreading southeast of Enniskillen for about 12 miles, is a maze of islands.

Congratulations to Entogeek as the offical FTF.

Thanks to Skyye53, FanglyFish, and Eyebright for the donations of door prizes.
