A boat launch is available at Lake Julian Park (N 35° 28.825 W 082° 32.360) for the launching of private craft including fishing boats with electric motors, canoes, kayaks and sailboats. There is a daily or annual fee to use the boat launch. Personal boats may also be launched from the bank, but the $5 fee must still be paid. See rates here.
Paddle boats, jonboats, and canoes are also available for rental. These boats can be rented by the ½ hour or by the hour. See rates here.
Park hours vary with the season.
November through March (8 a.m. – 6 p.m.)
April and September (8 a.m. – 8 p.m.)
May through August (8 a.m. – 9 p.m.)
October (8 a.m. - 7 p.m.)
The park is open year round, seven days a week except for the following holidays:
