This cache was placed as part of the 2011 Rain Snow or Shine Cache Dash.
This cache is located across a small field at the edge of the lake. No wading required. The waste treatment facility to the south is no longer in service, and in the 1930's there was a horse track here.
Thanks to the efforts of many in the community, the lake shores are cleaner than they have been in decades. As a result, each year the lake is more beautiful.
