An easy pick up at an interesting monument.
Cast your mind back to the discussion that saw Tom Cruise & Dustin Hoffman drive across America in "Rainman".
If you remember that you will see the irony in the cache name. The rest of the reason why the cache is here will be self explanatory, but basically to draw attention to an interesting piece of outback Queensland history.
We camped nearby on the other side of the road about 500m in on the banks of the Barcoo, in an accepted camping spot for those who are self sufficient campers. It's a listed location in the Camps Australia Book but indicated there was a cost, which proved to be incorrect - it is free. Nice location & now it has a cache.
