Geocache Description:

Rail ride # 13: Festival magic

Melbourne is one of those great cities where you can travel to its centre to enjoy it in so many ways. Great gardens where you can find peace, yet this same place translates into a party zone when our festivals erupt. Better still each festival has its own flavour.

The Alexandra gardens precinct is the heart of much festival fun in Melbourne. Moomba rides, Australia day games and the Art performances of the Melbourne International festival are all held in these gardens so it is a must go place for tourists and locals alike and the obvious place for a cache.

It seemed time for the ubiquitous “Eclipse tin” to turn up in this series. ;-) I did have a good Sistema cache location but it was just too close to others and with regret had to be discarded. I wanted to have a home for geocoins and trackables. This should be a fast find but this is again a busy location so please use stealth so the cache lasts.

Congratulations to jsmyong55 for FTF!
