Geocache Description:

This is a mystery cache to be solved with the help of two comics albums. The location itself is pretty trivial - but the real coordinates must be solved first.

Tämä on mysteerikätkö, jonka ratkaisuun tarvitsee kaivaa pari sarjakuva-albumia. Kätkön sijaintipaikka taasen on sangen triviaali - kunhan ensin ratkaisee koordinaatit.

EN In the mid 1970's the man of this geo-family got totally into comics character whose journey in space and time got to an end (or did it) in 2010 released Finnished album "Aika-avaaja" (Time opener).

The puzzle is solved with a few simple calculations as soon as the correct albums are found. Time opener doesn't open this mystery, the answers are found in older stories, longitude in one and latitude in another.

Add: 2019-09-25. Seems some English versions give fault values (thanks for information H&I). Some changes made in the English text and a few hot points added to checker 2019-10-21 to help with the solution.

    • Number of the subway cart x 2
    • Year of the first time-space device invented x 2
    • Steps to Empire State Building x 2
    • Steps to the illuminated floor of the U.N. Building x 2

"Hi kids! This is [name of the hero], ship number XB 982; we left Galaxity for the Syrtian system on the [date]." Let's dissolve the date:

  • degrees: the next day from the departure
  • minutes: month four months from the departure
  • seconds (yep): year of the departure diveded with 589.

FI 1970-luvun puolivälissä hurahti geo-perheen isäntä erääseen sarjakuvasankariin, jonka matka päättyi (vai päättyikö sittenkään) vuonna 2010 suomennetussa sarjan päättäneessä albumissa "Aika-avaaja".
