The Nooky Trail Series is a figure-of-eight circular series of caches, plus a bonus cache, starting from Waverton Village, heading to Golden Nook ("Nooky"), and returning via the canal; as of March 2012 there are also an additional 3 caches (plus this one) labelled "Snigsnig's Extra Nooky", which will eventually become part of an extended 2-part Nooky Trail. This is one of my favourite areas, and hope you enjoy exploring it too. The series takes you along rural footpaths, and the canal towpath, plus a short stretch along a country lane. The caches are a variety of sizes and types, and some will certainly be harder to find than others! I have listed special considerations on individual listings.

Fancy a bit of extra Nooky before heading home? This extra cache is designed to guide you back to Waverton Village, and you are no longer required to find this to receive the series badge. You may find the area quite busy with dogwalkers at certain times, so stealth may be required. You may prefer to do the bonus cache before this one if you prefer... wink wink ;-) Also, if there is cattle in the field with the footpath then you can use the next field (to the right) if you prefer; there is an entrance from the canal towpath (close to the tree in the field), and this alternative route is used a lot by locals.
