The Nooky Trail Series is a figure-of-eight circular series of caches, plus a bonus cache, starting from Waverton Village, heading to Golden Nook ("Nooky"), and returning via the canal. This is one of my favourite areas, and hope you enjoy exploring it too. The series takes you along rural footpaths, and the canal towpath, plus a short stretch along a country lane. The caches are a variety of sizes and types, and some will certainly be harder to find than others! I have listed special considerations on individual listings.

#8 - After breathing a sigh of relief after exiting Abbeydale's garden without having been shouted at/arrested/shot, the footpath takes you right into a small paddock, the location of this cache. Beware of nettles here, and take special care of the cattle in the fields immediately following this cache - they have always been fine with us but there can be a lot of them and its a big field should you need to make a sharp exit (you can backtrack and take the road around to Golden Nook bridge if you prefer, it will add another 10mins to your time) - and don't worry about yappy dogs in nearby garden, they can't get out! (although you may find yourself telling them to shut up as you go on your way!).
Good luck!!
