Who are the people in your neighborhood? Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nighthawk700: Thanks again everyone for coming. Time to archive this event so it won't keep showing up when people are looking for caches. Hopefully I'll have other events in the future, maybe at a bigger venue though. ;-)

Geocache Description:

I recently moved in the neighborhood and would like to start meeting some MD geocachers, whether residents of this neighborhood, or from further away.

Do you remember that Sesame Street song? It went something like this:

Oh who are the people in your neighborhood?
In your neighborhood?
In your neighborhood?
Say who are the people in your neighborhood?
The people that you meet each day.

Oh the Geocachers always look around
In trees, guardrails and on the ground
They'll search until they can find
Containers with geoswag to blow your mind.

'cause Geocachers are people in your neighborhood
In your neighborhood
They're in your neighborhood
Oh Geocachers are people in your neighborhood
Well, they're the people that you meet
When you're walking down the street
They're the people that you meet each day

Coordinates are for Maggie Moo's in the Quarry Lake shopping center.

Address: 2582 Quarry Lake Drive Pikesville, MD 21209. (This Maggie Moo's is kosher)

Let's get together (say 7:00 pm, it's a school night after all) and chat over some ice cream! Note this isn't a large place with lots of seating, so we may have to stand around, inside and out. For those who may not have done them before, there are a few geocaches, including a nice earthcache in the Quarry Lake shopping area.

If you have any signature pathtags or other signature items and are open to a trade, please bring them too. We can do some swapping.

Here's another verse of "who's in your neighborhood" that I thought of when creating this listing:

Oh the Geocachers always search for swag
Try to get high numbers so they can brag
They'll hunt until they can see
Geocaches better than just an LPC

So here's an idea. In your log (notes, will attend, etc.) try to write your own verse! Would be a good advance ice breaker seeing what people come up with. Maybe we'll even sing over some ice cream! (really, you don't want to hear me sing...)
