Geocache Description:


This is one of those hidden places that unless you had a reason to, you probably wouldn't visit.

If you look around you'll see that there's quite a bit of history here. The golden eagle you'll see near GZ was placed by The ladies of the G.A.R. and just a few feet from GZ is a Civil War veteran.

Just across from the cache site you'll see a large headstone, this is a memorial to Isaac Briggs, the founder of Springfield.


Please place the cache back as you found it so that it won't be discovered.
