Geocache Description:

Located on a recently constructed(Summer 2011)trail in Beckwith Twp. Trail is not yet completely finished with stone dust so the walking is a bit rough in spots. Trail is flat but not yet suitable for bikes or strollers. The Cache is located close to the trail about 1 km from the start of the trail.

The Cache is located on a recently built trail in Beckwith Township. Access to the trail is off the 9th Line(Concession)Road. Turn into the lane-way at 1377 9th Line - this is a TWP road as well as a lane-way.

This road takes you behind the western end of the Beckwith football field - past the scoreboard.

The trail-head is off the parking lot at the end of this road.

You can also access the trail by driving through the parking lot in front of the Beckwith Arena.

At the time we placed the cache (Sept 2011), the trail had not been completely finished. As a result, the walking is a bit rough in a few places because the Township has not yet covered the trail with stone-dust. As a result, it is not suitable for strollers, wagons or bicycles as yet.

The terrain is flat. Which also makes it suitable for those who X-country ski or snow-shoe the trail and would like to add Geocaching to their wintertime outing.

The Cache is located about 1km from the start of the trail. It is in a green Lock 'n Lock Container inside a Ziploc bag. It is close to the trail so there is no wandering through the woods to find it.

The cache contains a couple of special FTF items along with the usual trinkets and trash. There is also a log book for you to record your visit.

We hope that you enjoy the walk through the woods. It is a very peaceful place to stroll.
