Oz Mega Committee: Thank you to all the teams far and wide who assisted on the day in cleaning up.
The premises were pretty clean during the event anyway, but the final day placing of rubbish into skip bins and placing the 250 witches hats into neat piles all helped on the day.

Time to archive the CITO now.

The Equestrian Centre staff and Committee recently emailed they were very impressed with the cleanliness of all geocachers over the whole event period and welcomed us back at anytime.

Welcome to the OZ MEGA ALBURY WODONGA , Easter Monday, Cache In Trash Out event.
Cache In Trash Out is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community. Since 2002, geocachers around the world have been dedicated to improving parks and other cache-friendly places. Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources! Geocachers around the world celebrate International Cache In Trash Out weekend annually by hosting and participating in Cache In Trash Out Events in their local area. Events might be focused on litter clean-up, removal of invasive species, revegetation efforts or building trails. Together, we make an enormous positive impact. Did we mention that we also have a bit of fun while we're at it?
This event will commence at 7am Easter Monday for the early team departures wishing to assist. Six skip bins will be brought in for the event.Final rubbish bags will need to be in by event closure at 2PM.
The designated "CITO" skip bin will be signposted and the only one valid for the event. Tables will be set up next to the skip with the Oz Mega Committee on hand. The tables will have disposable gloves and plastic bags for teams. A log book will be on the tables . When a Committee member acknowledges your rubbish bag enter the designated skip bin , you will be confirmed to log the book .
Only "log book entries " are valid to 'log the event " online. The Oz Mega Committee thanks you for your assistance and thanks you for your help in keeping the Albury Wodonga Equestrian Centre clean on departure and keeping the environment clean.
