Logan County Museum Cache



This cache is located on the grounds of the Logan County Museum in Paris, Arkansas with permission from the Museum Board.

Please only search for this cache during the day light hours.

This is small container that contains a log and some small trade items. Please bring your own writing utensil.

The Logan County Museum is now housed in what was at one time the Logan County Jail. In 1971 the Jail was judged as inadequate for prisoners, because of fire codes and new prisoner standards, and destined to be torn down. The Logan County Home Economists wanted to turn it into a County Museum. In 1972, after renovation, the Jail was turned into The Logan County Museum.

The Logan County Museum has many interesting articles on display. Including artifacts from the trial of Arthur Tillman.

Arthur Tillman was the last person executed in the State of Arkansas by public hanging. You can read more about that story at arthurtillman.blogspot.com

The caches is located near the museum office and they are aware that the cache is here. This location might also be busy with muggles at times.

The Logan County Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 4:00 PM.
