Geocache Description:

The official start of our exploring our valleys series of caches, enjoy the view here and the easy find. Not all are going to be this easy. As you work your way around the Upper and Lower valleys, you might run into a few that you cannot find. You might find some you like, you might find some that surprise you. Whatever happens, try to enjoy yourself and enjoy the great views. We also recommend a loop over to the cook underwood road series for another incredible look at the HR valley.

The Lower Hood River Valley. Filled with orchards, spectacular views, and friendly faces at every turn. This series of caches around the valley was designed to stimuate your geo-senses by providing you an opportunity to experience different hides, containers and challenges. Parking is very close to every single hide. Designed as part of a 2-part series to explore the Upper and Lower Hood River Valleys. We hope you enjoy the tour. There are many other geo-caches along the loop that will help you fill in the gaps between great spots. These are meant to fit right in. We recommend bringing some tools, at the very least a good pen, a light and some tweezers for prying some log sheets out of the containers. Take some time to stop at the fruit stands, coffee bars and lunch spots, to really experience what the 97031 has to offer.
Go get 'em.
Happy Cachin'.
