Enjoy an engaging & picturesque walk down a winding track to a memorial on the hill. With magnificent views of the coastline this cache is great for geocachers who like to get off the pavement. Do not attempt at night. "Track" does connect to the southern beach
This cache is to celebrate our move out of the city into the "sticks", and so we hope you enjoy the area as much as we do. Park near waypoint 1 (Trail Head) or the carpark at the water tower. Follow clear trail to monument, no bush bashing required. Once at the monument continue along the goat tracks roughly in the direction of cache waypoint, you can follow these already established tracks to within 2m of the cache. Be sure to also check out "Turkish Noodle" nearby for more great views, as well as "Heading in the right direction" near Hat Head which is the next town north.
