Aizu-Wakamatsu Station is a train station in Aizuwakamatsu, in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan.
It is the main station for Aizu-Wakamatsu and surrounding areas.

This station is "Selection of 100 station" in Tohoku area

I hid the cache at corner of the rotary in front of the station.
There are close to police station, so I prepared hint.

会津若松駅（あいづわかまつえき）は、会津盆地の南東部に位置する、
会津地方の中心都市・会津若松市の代表駅であり、開業時の同市市街地の北端に設置されました。
当駅には磐越西線と只見線が乗り入れており、このうち磐越西線を所属線としています。

磐越西線においては途中駅であるが、当駅から北東と北西へ線路が走っておりスイッチバック構造をしています。
そのため磐越西線が使用するホームも頭端式ホームとなっており、当駅をまたいで運転する列車は方向転換を行なっています。
南方向に只見線が分岐し、同線西若松駅を終点とする第3セクターの会津鉄道会津線の列車も只見線経由で当駅まで乗り入れています。

また、「歴史と文化、そして伝統が息づく街の玄関口の駅舎」として、東北の駅百選に選定されています。
