Geocache Description:

The cache is located near the historic Gravenhurst railway station.

At times there can be many muggles around. It all depends when you search for the cache.

You'll also notice that there is an Ontario Historical Plaque located here too.

After a fire in 1913 destroyed the Grand Trunk Station located a kilometre south, the current railway station was built in 1919 and opened by Edward Prince of Wales (later to become King Edward VIII).

The town of Gravenhurst bought the buildings in 1986 and restored the railway station.

The railway station is designated as a historical building and it is used by Ontario Northland as an inter-modal bus stop and train depot.
