A straight forward Meet to celebrate the 29th February, starting from 6pm for those who want a social way of filling in their Grid!
A no frills event to have something to eat and drink at the end of February and have a good old chat! I have booked the upstaire of the Titchfield Mill which is always a popular place, so I look forward to seeing you on the day.
I have promised to give the pub some rough numbers, so when logging, please say how many people in your team will/may come and if you are eating or not. The related website will take you to the pub website to see the menus etc. No need to order anything until the night.
Groundspeak are going to be issueing a Souvenir for all Geocachers who find a cache or attend an event on the 29th February, so you will see this on your Geocaching Public profile shortlky after attending the event. I am not sure what design they have in mind, but something else to add to your collection!
CONGRATULATIONS will be going to two cachers achieving milestones at the event:-
Chilihouse - 5000!
Saints1 - 2000!
Thanks for choosing the event to mark these. Coins to remember this by will be presented on the day.
A late contender, but Allthebridges looks like he will have achieved or will achieve his 7000th find at the meet. Too late to get a coin, very sorry!, but a fantastic number...
Due to the high numbers attending, Order your drinks and food downstairs as soon as you arrive and say that you are Upstairs. That will save you a trip and ensure that your order is in the system for you to enjoy.
