Gátszakadás Kisbodaknál

1954. július 15-i gátszakadás emlékére állítottak itt egy kopjafát és helyeztek el egy emlékkövet. Az ár 70 kisbodaki otthont pusztított el. Ezután települt a falu kicsit magasabb területre, az 1828-ban épült iskola köré. Ezt követõen jelentõs munkával megerõsítették a gátat, hogy többé ne forduljon elõ gátszakadás. A kempinghez, a kenusok kikötõhelyéhez és a Szt. Flórián hídhoz is erre visz utad. A ládát az emlékkõ mögötti résben találod.

Dam burst at Kisbodak

In the memory of the dam burst on 15th July 1954 a wooden lance was erected here and also a memorial stone was placed. The flood destroyed 70 homes in Kisbodak. After this the village moved to a little higher area, they settled around the school built in 1828.Subsequently, they put significant amount of work into hardening the dam to ensure that the dam burst won't happen any more. This is the path that takes you to the camping, the landing stage for canoes and also to the St. Flórián bridge. You can find the cache in the gap behind the memorial stone.
Attention! It's a busy place, be careful.
