The cache site affords spectacular views of Silverado Canyon and

From the parking lot, pass through the gate to Maple Springs
Road and walk .12 mile eastward to the trailhead of Silverado
Motorway (coordinates: N 33, 44.949 / W 117, 34.927). This is a
strenuous hike, but well worth the effort---Great views and a
well-stocked cache. A 10" x 7" x 4" camouflage-painted ammo box is
stashed in the brush---Easy find after a hard hike.
