le Parc miner était auparavant une écoLe de rang avec Une seule classe. pluS tard, l’école pie x fût agrandit pour accomoder plus d’élèves et achetée par le conseil des écoles catholiques. la municipalité achète cet endroit pour en faire un parc et la Bâtisse servAit de camp d’été pour leS enfants de la région. ayant de moins en moins d’inscriptions Qu’avant, la mUnicipalité cEsse ceux-ci et démoLie la bâtisse étant devenue trop vielle. Aujourd’hui, C’est un pEtit parc paIsible avec jeux pour eNfants, balançoires et paTinoire l’hiver. endroit tranqUille pouR un piquE nique aussi. apporter votre crayon. miner park was a neighborhood schooL with only one class. later, pie x schOol was renovated with more classes and was sOld to the catholic school board. the county then buys this land and the school was used as a summer day camp and parK. having less and less kids attending the summer day camp and the Building gEtting too oLd, it was demOlished. today it is a small quiet park With a kids playground, sWings and A wInter Skating rink. iT is also a good place to bring a picnic. bring your own pen.
