Northeast corner of the Northeast Park Traditional Cache
neco_cachero: This one had a really good run. One after another my old caches in Manhattan are reaching retirement age. This park is very nice. I hope archiving this cache will open the area for a new cache in this park.

The Manhattan Linear Trail is one of my favorites destinations in town. I tried to hit the trail at least once every weekend. Lately I am hanging out and enjoying most of the outdoors on the east side of town. I live on the west side. Anyways the trail on this part of town connects to a great network of parks and green areas.
Bringing my dog with me is always a requirement when going to the outdoors. He is old but he loves to hike and have his big furry paws on some fresh fluffy comfy grass. The turf on this park is phenomenal. It invites you to lay down for a bit or take a barefoot stroll.
The Northeast Park is a very enjoyable feature of the city of Manhattan, which I am very grateful for. Anyways being here I noticed that there are not many caches in such a big park and that most of the caches are only on the Linear Trail section. So why not putting another cache on the opposite corner just to invite other cachers to hike the whole round around the park, right?
Then we have this new cache here on the Northeast corner of the Northeast Park. Come out and enjoy this great park. Grab all the caches in the park on a nice hiking trip. Bring your friends and family to enjoy the outdoors. And don't forget to find this small come-taped plastic container hidden on a branchy tree. Please replace it as you find it or better.
