One of a series of caches placed along the lakeside walk down the western shore of Windermere from Wray castle to Ferry House
Panoramic viewpoint close to a wildly popular car park so BEWARE Muggle Central!
Great caution needed with possibly extra distraction or even a return in the evening to ensure security.
Excellent grassy mound commanding views across the moorings to ferry house and beyond to the south and up inside Belle Isle, views North up the lake towards Ambleside. The muggles here have good taste. Even the ices as you queue for the ferry are spot on.
