Antheia: This cache has been unavailable for a considerable period and as the owner has not responded to logs nor logged into geocaching.com for sometime I am archiving it.

Please avoid geolitter by removing any remaining traces of your cache or contact a local cacher to do so for you. If you are having difficulty doing so then please contact me via my profile and I will try to get someone to assist. This is particularly important if your cache appears to contain Travelbugs or Geocoins.

Geocache Description:

Cache is hidden on L’ancresse common in a building that stopped being used a long time ago. Who knows who used to live here? Farmers? Fishermen? Soldiers?

The house is no doubt explored by anyone checking out this area of the common so please re-hide the cache well to avoid muggles accidentally finding it.

You can reach the house via one of two small paths in the undergrowth, watch out for prickles and uneven ground. Once inside be careful of your footing as the moss covered areas are slippery.

Despite this, it is a fun one to take the kids to and, once you are in, you are out of sight of prying eyes.

If you are going to trade please remember to trade up or trade equal or do not trade at all.
