Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden in the trails of Mundy Park. The trails are bark mulch and gravel and are fairly wide. The park is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Parts of the park are off-leash dog areas.

Poseidon was the mythological Greek God of the sea, and Shaker of the earth. (Earthquake Maker)His Father was Cronos, and his brothers were Zeus and Hades. He was one of the Gods of Olympus. When he was offended, he struck the ground with his Trident (three pronged spear) and caused Earthquakes shipwrecks and drownings. Not to mention big holes in the ground. Sailors prayed to Poseidon for safe voyages. This adventure is set in Mundy Park in Coquitlam. From the east side parking lot, it is an easy walk to the “Trident”. Go West on the Interlaken Trail til you reach the Perimeter Trail, turn South. The Trident should be visible soon. Take the centre path of the Trident, through the leafy tunnel, past the Derelict Gateway (poetic licence), and look for the rotting tusk at the side of the path. The cache is within 10 meters of this point. The cache is a small snaptop container with small trade items inside. A FTF gift of a silverplated picture frame is included Please reseal and rehide container as you find it, and please watch out for muggles. Thanks
