Geocache Description:

A short stroll along a public footpath south of the small village of Leverton, which is dominated by the walled garden used for the BBC series of the title in the late 80s.
Parking is available where the road is wider just north of the crossroads in the village at N51 deg. 25.728, W001 deg. 31.284, but allow room for long vehicles to enter the estate gate. Do not think of parking on the B4192 at the other end of the footpath as there is no verge.

From the parking you will pass a row of estate cottages before crossing one of the streams of the river Kennet.

The cache is a one-third litre clip-lock box in a dark-grey nylon bag. When placed it contained laminated certificates for the first six finders and small tradeable items including a purse from Turkey. There is space for small trackables.

Walking west from the crossroads on the wide verge, after passing some wooden stocks you can see into the garden, now mainly grassed, through a wrought-iron gate at N51 deg. 25.705, W001 deg. 31.398.
