Urban Oasis Traditional Cache

Just like the rest of Gosport, Priddys Hard has a significant history with its military influence starting in the 16th Century. Now, however, this site provides an important “urban oasis” for wildlife, promoting and protecting a wide range of species found in the locality. Walking along this path and watching quietly from the perimeter fence allows you to discover a wide range of birds, plants and insects.
This cache can be found at a location just off of the main path next to a field which in the winter can house some Highland Cattle. Follow the path right up to the gate and all will become clear. The cache is a small container and contains some small swaps. There is a few small pencils with the log, but I'd recommend taking your own pen just in case.
Please DO NOT enter any part of the field/reserve – interference will disturb the wildlife, and it is not necessary to enter in order to retrieve the cache.
