Tiddley Om Pom Pom! Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to my note I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to contact me about this cache please use my Email address below my signature and quote the GC number of the cache. Please note this system is not infallible and I may miss any such mail.

Many thanks,

Geocache Description:

Located in Beach Gardens near Blyth South Beach

The Blyth Bandstand. Refurbished in 2008 as part of the South Beach regeneration scheme
The bandstand has stood here since the 1920s and is a local landmark

The acoustics of the bandstand are particularly good, perfect for a rendition of everyone's favourite sea-side song.

The coordinates lead you to a plaque in the centre of the bandstand with a date engraved on it.

In order to locate the cache you must add up the four digits of the date,
then add them to the number of columns on the bandstand
and then subtract 5.5
This will give you the distance in metres from the hiding place

(D+A+T+E) + (# of COLUMNS) – 5.5 = DISTANCE FROM CACHE IN METRES

Use your GPS to move you to a point this distance from the centre and maintaining this distance, start looking.

Should be an easy find as long as you have your caching eye in.

Stealth will be required
Bring a pen.

Happy Hunting
