This used to be a fenced area with satellites inside. This area of satellites was special to me. One of the 'ten' killed in the OSU plane crash back in 2001 was a friend of mine who used to work for Educational Television Services at OSU. He showed me how television broadcasting worked behind the scenes, and even let me 'push the button' to realign the satellites (then we ran outside to catch the satellites moving). He was a cool guy.
Now the satellites have been removed, the fenced area is now part of the parking lot, and there is a new parking garage being completed just south of the area. While the satellites are no longer there, the area is still special to me. With the removal of the fenced area, the cache had to be moved a little to the east and made smaller. It is now a nano. Update: Since the new area is becoming an electrical mess, I moved it further north to what should be an obvious spot. North end of host…bison tube.
