Geocache Description:

This is a puzzle geocache. The container is not at the posted coordinates. (but is't real close) This geocache also qualifies for the worldwide geocaching challenge, "The Degree Confluence Project".

This geocache is located very near the coordinates of 30 degrees north (N30 00.000) and 92 degrees west (W092 00.000).

You will have to do a little math to get the exact coordinates of the container location. The math is not hard I promise.

Pick a number between 1 and 10 excluding the number 1 and the number 10 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9)

Multiply that number by 9. This will give you a two digit number.

Add the two digits together (ex. 38: 3+8=11). Consider this number to be "X". (do not use the example as X)

NORTH: Multiply "X" by 4 then add 4. This will give you "Y". aka X(4)+4=Y

N30 00.000
-00 00.0Y
___________
= north coordinates

WEST: Divide "X" by 3. This will give you "Z". aka X/3=Z

W092 00.000
-000 00.00Z
____________
= west coordinates

Plug the new north and west coordinates into your GPSr and find the Ground Zero geocache.

Good luck and happy hunting.
