A 2 mile walk from Thornhill village to the Muir Dam. The local community (TCT Access group) has worked hard to make sure this right of way has been retained. This is now one of Stirling Council's Core Paths, although don't be fooled into thinking it is going to be a tarmac motorway of a path.
Boots / wellies definitely required!
Skeoch is from the Gaelic for hawthorn: sgitheach.
perhaps you will see some of these trees here. Get your eyespy books out!
