Geocache Description:

This cache takes you to a quiet bay side park opposite a tree lined sports oval. Late in the afternoon you may see dragon boats rowing about. Access is by a footpath, ground is level.

The cache is a micro. You will need to bring your own pen. This cache fills in the gap created here by the archiving of a near by cache, and brings you to a great corner of Darwin.
If you see a dragon boat, here is their story: Dragon Boat NT Incorporated is the peak body for the sport of Dragon Boat Racing in the Northern Territory of Australia. DBNT was established in April 1998 with a few dedicated paddlers sitting in chairs practicing their technique before the delivery of the first boat.
There are now over 100 regular paddlers in based across four clubs.
In the Cullen Bay marina you may see the crew from Dragons Abreast, who support research for, and promote awaremness of breast cancer.
