Geocache Description:

Anthony Gormleys Another Place on Crosby Beach, flat terain with a car park immediatly next to the cache. Lots of Muddles around most of the day so take care.

Small lunchbox containing pencil and notepad and a number of small bits.
The Another Place figures - each one weighing 650 kilos - are made from casts of the artist's own body and are shown at different stages of rising out of the sand, all of them looking out to sea, staring at the horizon in silent expectation.
There is no need to clamber over any rocks the cache is very close to the car park, just a reach away :)
Well done Reds4Ever FTF...Thanks for re-hiding.

After being taken by muggles in eary April I have now replaced the cache.

Please excuse the rubbish, those less aware tend to discard litter as they want, if you can remove an item or two of litter on your visit, This will be an item or two less to spoil the area.

All the rocks and bricks to the north of the car park are Rubble from bomb damaged Liverpool, it was made available to be dumped along the Crosby coastline to prevent erosion. In 1947-1948 tipping of rubble commenced and was replenished up to the 1970s with waste
material from the construction of the second Mersey Tunnel.

Thanks
Terley
