Geocache Description:

Located within the National Trust Montacute estate. This is the first of a series of geocaches placed to welcome allcomers to explore Montacute's wider estate. Accessible year round without charge.

Terrain: paths can be uneven and slippery in wet weather, with some moderate slopes. Sturdy shoes (Walking boots)or Wellies are recommended.

Livestock: Please keep dogs on leads and follow the guideline notices on gates. Please follow the country code and close gates behind you.

Parking: National Trust Montacute - please use the overflow car park at N50 57.019 W002 42.893 (open dawn to dusk).

The cache can be located by following our "One Mile Walk" which starts from the gate at N50 56.992 W002 42.799.

Geocache: small clip top lunch box type container.
