Lambton County is not known for it's elevation changes. This property borders on Middlesex County, and there are some hills along the trails. This cache can be found on the way up, or possibly the way back down, depending upon whether you go clockwise or counter clockwise.
PLEASE TAKE CAREFUL NOTE OF THE TRAIL AS THE BOARDWALK CAN BE WASHED OUT FROM HIGH WATER LEVELS.
Please be warned that during high water levels, particularly during the spring thaw and fall rains, the road leading to this cache may be flooded. If it is flooded, please do not attempt to cross. Try again on a drier day. Conservation Authority Personnel remind us that there is a small entry fee into the Conservation Area. When the attendant isn't present, there is a self-service drop box by the gate house. Also make note of the park hours as the entrance gates are locked each night. Please remember that off trail hiking is discouraged as it negatively impacts on the environment.
