Seaway Trail Cache #4. Should be stamped in place of Dubuar High Point, not Basford Falls.
Cache is located on land owned and managed by St. Lawrence County. Parking is plenty and obvious along Sylvan Falls Rd. Be prepared for a short, but steep, decent towards the river "valley". Trail is a loop
Where: County Parcel #34, owned and actively managed by St. Lawrence County for the purposes of recreation and timber production. Access is pretty much limited to two parking areas located off Sylvan Falls Rd. Note, Sylvan Falls Rd is named "Catherine Street" in Parishville.
Terrain: Terrain is somewhat rough. While the trails are occasionally maintained by the YCC and forester, they still are somewhat rustic. Trail signs are plentiful, so navigation should be a concern, poor drainage, blowdown, erosion, and other concerns may make for rough travel. There is a rather steep section upon entering the hardwood stand.
