Dan M99: Sure enough, someone dumped the books on the ground and stole the ammo box. I stopped by this morning to clean up what was left. I won't be replacing anything here.

I guess I should be pleased that a cache of this size and decoration lasted 5 years in such a muggle-heavy area. Thanks to all who came out to find it.

Geocache Description:


This cache is designed as a book-exchange cache; more specifically: picture & chapter books for children. The cache has been stocked with childrens' books. If you take a book, please leave one for someone else, and try to only put books into it rather than usual swag (travel bugs are ok). You'll be looking for a large ammo can in Coles Woods.

Try to rehide the cache well, and please don't post spoiler pictures. We'd like everyone to be able to enjoy the same thrill of discovery. Thanks!

Also, anyone who can name the book where this cache's name comes from gets 5 bonus points!
