Nano cache hidden near the boundary to the Cleveland National Forest
Cache is hidden 125 feet from the road on the other side of the creek. Be careful for the poison oak in the area. When I placed it there was not too much in the immediate area but there is still some there. Be careful with the terrain surround the immediate area too. Trying to find this cache in January would almost be impossible due to the torrent the creek turns into to. BYOP!
In case you have not been to this area I would not suggest taking a car. It is done, but not suggested at all. I have regretted every time that I have done so. You will definitely bottom out a few times in a car. If you really don't care much for your car, go for it, otherwise use a truck or SUV. Or you can park at the entrance to the canyon from the paved road and bike in. Roughly 2.5 miles from the paved road.
