Geocache Description:

Rata Reserve

This Triangular piece of road reserve was a remnant parcel of land left over when the city was originally laid out. For a time there was a large fire bell located near here.

Today the road has been diverted so that there is no longer an island surrounded by roads and one of the trees still standing here is a rare Northern Rata which is protected tree number 5 in Wanganui.

Shouldn't be too hard to find this one. But make sure you cover well.
