Geocache Description:

One of the Nine Dragons of Kowloon.

The highest peak of this hill is occupied by broadcast stations of ATV and TVB. The cache is hidden at what I think is pretty much the highest publicly accessible point of the mountain.
Hike up from Shatin Pass Road, either the short route by taking the stairs up to the powerline pilon and following the trail from there (3-4 star terrain), or the long way over the access road (2-star terrain). From the broadcast station a concreted path leads you to GZ.
Alternatively you can hike from Shatin Pass up a long long flight of stairs to GZ.
At Shatin Pass there is a small tuck shop selling snacks and drinks. A great place for a break.

Cache is small size; original content is only a note book; there is space for small items and travellers.

Note: if you find yourself on a steep slope, you've gone too far. Cache is not that far off the main path.

The name Kowloon literally means "nine dragons". These dragons are eight mountain peaks and a Chinese emperor. These eight peaks of the Kowloon Ridge each have their own geocache:
GC194E9 at Kowloon Peak aka Fei Ngo Shan,
GC34Q98 at Tung Shan,
GC2TM2P at Tate's Cairn,
GC34Q99 at Temple Hill (Tsz Wan Shan),
GC34Q9A at Unicorn Ridge,
GC195NY at Lion Rock,
GC1XNT8 at Beacon Hill,
GC34Q9C at Crow's Nest.
Each cache contains a card with a unique number. Using those numbers you may find the final dragon: GC34Q9D Emperor Bing of Song, who was the last emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty of China. For more information on this emperor and his dynasty please visit WikiPedia and the pages linked from there.
