ENG: Sjøgato - Mosjøen old town - has North Norway's longest continuous-preserved wooden houses. Sjøgato is both a tourist attraction and an active historic urban environment. Directorate of Cultural Heritage has protected the area Sjøgato.
NO: Sjøgato - Mosjøens gamle bydel - har Nord-Norges lengste sammenhengende bevarte trehusbebyggelse. Sjøgato er både en turistattraksjon og et aktiv historisk bymiljø. Riksantikvaren har vernet området Sjøgato.

ENG: Sjøgato is a meeting place between the inland and coast. Here, the river Vefsna meets the sea. People from the inland and coastal people have come to meet and trade goods since ancient times. The cache is placed in Nergato, part of Sjøgato closest to the river.

Sjøgato er en møteplass mellom innland og kyst. Her møter elva Vefsna havet. Her har folk fra innlandet møtt kystfolket for å handle og bytte varer i uminnelige tider. Cachen befinner seg i Nergato, delen av Sjøgato som ligger nærmest elva.
