Geocache Description:

Recently we were blessed to be the First to Find on the AC Curse of the FTF Series. This cache is being placed as the second in the series. We don't consider this to be a "curse" but rather a blessing. We have been provided with yet another opportunity to give back to the geocaching community that has provided us with so much fun.

Being part of the Series the following rules apply to this cache:

This is a Cursed cache for the FTFers in Allegan County! If you are the FTF for a cache in this series, you are cursed with the obligation to place another "AC Curse of the FTF" cache, therefore extending the series. Guidelines for this series are below:
1. FTF'er should place the next cache in the series (AC Curse of the FTF #2) within 30 Days! Otherwise the curse will prevent you from EVER getting another FTF again!!!
2. You can only be a FTF for this series once. This is to give others a chance to be a FTF'er.
3. Cache can be any type of cache (Puzzle, Multi, etc.)
4. Caches should be placed within the Allegan County area! Lets see how far the series will go...
5. Per guidelines: Please don't claim the "FTF" if you don't want to do the "optional" task of hiding another cache to continue the series.

Those cursed so far:
1. BoxmanCrew cursed by GC33VOR on 9/8/11. Curse lifted 9/24/11 by
GC34RNQ.

He has accomplished the work

This cache has been placed on private property with permission.  As a boy I was blessed to spend many summers here, first as a camper and later as a volunteer staff member. This place has special memories for me. We had many fun activities here, team sports, horseback riding, archery, marksmanship, arts & crafts, swimming, and one of my favorites canoeing. When we placed this cache we ventured up the road to the camp to show my boys where I went to camp. The place looks much as I remember it, maybe a little smaller.

The cache is located near the entrance to Camp Kaskitowa. There is no need to go up into the camp, and doing so is discouraged, especially during camping season. You should park near the dumpster.  If you are interested in learning about the camp, and possibly sending your kids there click the logo above for more information. The folks on the other end would be happy to provide you with information.

The cache is a sandwich size Lock & Lock with room for small trade items.
