Geocache Description:

This cache was placed (better late than never) in honor of
Just Us Two
and their
10,000th cache find.
The cache container also pays homage to their red van that had covered thousands of miles to help them attain this milestone.

Just Us Two & I met in April 2005 while seeking an "Old Rocker" cache placed near Tampier Slough. We all kind of hit it off pretty well, especially due to a couple of bonding moments that day: we sought two of "Leaping Puma's" caches, one was located in a flooded area, the other was a multi that required trekking & tripping through a waist-deep swamp . So we defined the term “mutual support” for each other while seeking those.

Throughout our friendship, they’ve displayed passion & desire not only for geocaching, but in activities such as mushroom seeking and blueberry picking. They’ve been a great referral source & knowledge base when it comes to prairie plants, wildlife, maps, and local & native history.

I’ll spare the rest of the story: let’s just say you’d be hard-pressed to find a nicer couple of people than Just Us Two. I’m honored to know them, to call them friends, and I thank them. Congrats to this diligent duo! We’ll see you on (or off) the trail.

- Please use the parking waypoint provided. There are other gravel pull-offs along the road, but this one allows for the safest parking and the mildest approach to the cache (if you make the right decisions).

- The mountain bike trail will not lead to the cache. You may walk on it, but beware of fast-moving cyclists from either direction.
