in our disclaimer.
Pleasant Valley Beacon 30 is another cache in a series hidden by Nitro929, Nvh2ofowler and the lazyts team marking the Transcontinental Airmail Route across northern Nevada.
Regular scheduled night service on the Transcontinental Air Mail Route started on July 1,1924. Operating around the clock, Air Mail was able to cross the nation in 34 hours westbound and 29 hours eastbound. High-intensity beacons were established approximately 10 miles apart along the airways.
An interesting thing about this beacon is the location of the generator shed was down the hill from the beacon, you would have gone by the foundation on your way to cache location.
